This great organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Engineer (Field Service Engineer) to work in the field and join their dynamic team covering West London.
FULL TRAINING will be given on the product and industry.
The role would suit an individual who is looking to advance their career in engineering/IT and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.
Experience mending white goods has great transferable skills for this role, and a good level of mechanical/electrical aptitude is ideal for this position.
If you have experience in and enjoy general PC hardware and software maintenance, working with Windows operating systems, or generally enjoy taking things apart, mending, and putting them back together again, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosing faults, making repairs, and replacing modules on ATMs.
2. Installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Take responsibility and ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and in compliance with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Able to work on your own with minimal supervision and manage your time effectively and pro-actively.
2. Good level of mechanical/electrical aptitude.
3. Experience with Windows operating systems.
4. Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair, and basic computer hardware and software knowledge, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
5. Enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together.
6. Good problem-solving skills.
7. Can work well under pressure.
8. Full UK driving licence.
There are shift patterns though they are very reasonable and are listed below, 42.5 hours per week. No more than 25% of working shifts will be scheduled as late shift.
5 days working, 2 days off, with a day off either side of the weekend if working over the weekend.
