The Education and Skills Team have a new exciting vacancy for a Customer Service Administrator who will ensure that accurate data is entered within relevant systems to claim funding from various agencies, and to assist with a variety of administration duties.
Please note that this is an office-based role working daily out of Greater Manchester SkillCentre, Trafford Park, the hours for this role are Monday – Thursday - 7.30am - 3.30pm & Friday 7.30am - 3pm.

Key Responsibilities
1. Where appropriate check the eligibility of new applications to ensure that companies/individuals meet the funding criteria.
2. Invigilate and provide administrative support for exams, tests and initial assessments as required.
3. Handle sensitive student, learner and employer data.
4. Register individuals for qualifications where appropriate and make sure that all Awarding Body procedures are followed in order to meet centre approval requirements.
5. Certificate learners for qualifications making sure that all of the requirement of Apprentices Certification England (ACE) procedures are met.
6. Maintain knowledge of current funding programmes, eligibility and paperwork, to ensure processing of quality of data.
7. Manage day to day finance processes including petty cash, raising purchase orders and checking invoices.
8. Where appropriate be responsible for the overall learner journey providing student/employer support where required.
9. Where appropriate ensure training centre facility is fully resourced and suitable for classroom delivery.
10. Administer bursary and other discretionary student payments including support with student loans.
11. To provide a front of house reception service, handling all enquiries swiftly, ensuring Safeguarding requirements are met at all times.
About You
1. GCSE - Maths & English Grade 4/C or level 2 equivalent.
2. Customer service and administration experience.
3. Limited specific knowledge required.
4. Ability to deliver a customer focused internal and external service.
5. To have motivation and drive to complete tasks.
6. Car user desirable with access to a vehicle.
Skills Required
1. Fully conversant with all Microsoft packages.
2. At least Level 2 Maths and English skills.
3. Communication at all levels including good written communication.
