Job Description Aberdeenshire Council are looking for a Waste Management Support Leader too manage and deliver an effective Refuse and Recycling Collection and Street Cleansing service within a defined geographical area. Based in the Banchory depot, the post holder will be responsible for the strategic and operational management and delivery of Refuse and Recycling collections and Street Cleansing functions from both the Banchory and Stonehaven depots. This will include associated infrastructure, trade waste, abandoned vehicles, customer engagement, enforcement action and communications. This is a full time position of 36.25 hours per week, Monday - Friday. There is a flexible working policy between the base office and home working. The post covers the Marr and Kincardine & Mearns administrative areas. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
