Location: Bradford, Petersfield or London. Occasional travel to other offices may be required.

The Role:
As our Senior Credit Risk Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the evolution of credit risk strategies for Credit Cards, Loans, and Vehicle Finance. This includes implementing industry best practices on credit risk and affordability assessments, credit line management, and risk vs reward profitability modelling.
As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, you will:
* Deputise for the Head of Credit Risk Strategies and lead the wider strategy function on credit risk analysis.
* Drive the optimisation of lending decisions through initiatives to identify champion strategies for existing customers.
* Establish a credit risk framework for appropriate decision-making within the Group’s risk appetite.
* Investigate and develop new data sources for analysis and decision-making.
* Influence stakeholders across the Group to gain support for necessary changes.
* Support business growth and portfolio profitability while controlling credit quality.
* Provide opportunities for colleagues to succeed through coaching and mentoring.
* Build an innovative culture by exploring and implementing cutting-edge techniques.
What We’re Looking For:
* Industry expert in Credit Risk lending strategies
* Leadership: Proficient in leading an analytical team and providing strategic direction
* Strong numerical capability: Experience in converting analytical information into a business narrative
* Communication: Ability to articulate complex ideas to influence stakeholders
* Problem solving: Innovative approaches to address issues or enhance strategies
* Up-to-date: Knowledge of latest regulatory and macro-economic developments
* Customer-focused: Understanding the wider impact of strategies on customer outcomes
