They offer a series of services which include advice on energy solutions and changes in how businesses can utilise and conserve energy. They also promote bespoke software to explore past and current energy data, monitoring consumption to identify reasons for changes in usage. Initiatives such as ESOS (audits and compliance) and advancements in commercial LED lighting have resulted in huge savings for business owners, with many organisations now more motivated than ever to reduce their carbon footprint and energy supply costs.
The Energy Consultancy Division has grown organically in recent years; however, recent increases in energy costs and the unique challenges faced by the NetZero agenda have resulted in business owners bringing forward their plans to reduce energy usage and taking a greater interest in building running costs.
Applications are invited from intelligent client-facing Energy Consultants, experienced in reviewing energy data and putting together recommendations for reduction strategies. This experience could have been gained whilst working within energy consultancy, building contracting, an in-house property estates division or possibly directly from one of the many energy/utility providers who record and study energy consumption daily.
It is essential that all interested parties have experience sitting in front of senior executives and writing business cases, able to inspire confidence and show strong leadership. Experience working across a wide variety of buildings would also be desirable, with the position likely to encounter various types and sizes of structures. Meeting customers nationally will undoubtedly result in some travel; therefore, anyone interested in this position will need to be comfortable operating remotely at times, manage their own time efficiently and able to demonstrate strong clear communication skills.
In return for your hard work and efforts, the successful applicant can look forward to being the main point of contact for a high-profile customer base and working closely with the Pre-Construction and Installations teams to achieve industry-leading results.
