The Candidate:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Graphic Designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the growth and success of The PTH Group. The Role:
We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience, either working in-house or within an agency. You will be working on a variety of design projects across both print and digital platforms, helping to shape the visual identity of our brands.
Projects can include:
* Designing flyers, brochures, catalogues, and branded stationery.
* Creating product packaging and large-format signage.
* Developing website designs, landing pages, and creating product images.
* Producing infographics for e-commerce platforms.
* Supporting the creation and posting of social media content for multiple brands within the group.
A strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling is essential, as you will be responsible for creating designs that resonate with our target audiences. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to bring our brands to life through photography and videography, both in studio and lifestyle settings. Knowledge and skills in these areas are highly desired.
You will report to the Creative Manager and collaborate with senior team members, ensuring that all designs are consistent, on-brand, and align with the group’s vision. Your role will be pivotal in delivering visually engaging content that supports our marketing strategies and enhances customer experience across all platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Design and develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, catalogues, branded stationery, product packaging, and large-format signage.
* Create visually compelling website designs, landing pages, and product imagery for e-commerce platforms.
* Develop infographics and digital assets for online platforms to support product promotions and enhance customer experience.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create and post engaging social media content across multiple brands within the group.
* Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and supports the group’s overall marketing and business objectives.
* Assist with photography and videography in both studio and lifestyle settings for use across digital platforms, print materials, and social media.
* Work closely with the Creative Manager and other senior team members to ensure designs align with project goals and timelines.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to enhance our brands’ visual identity and customer engagement.
* Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of work remains high.
* Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve and adapt creative processes.
Experience and Skills:
* Degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Communication – or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years industry experience – either within an agency setting or in-house, working on both print and digital design projects.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects. Experience in Lightroom and Premiere Pro is a bonus.
* Strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling – the ability to create visually compelling designs that align with brand identities.
* Experience in both print and digital design – including brochures, flyers, catalogues, product packaging, signage, website layouts, and digital assets.
* Experience with social media content creation – and an understanding of platform-specific design requirements.
* Knowledge of photography and videography – including studio and lifestyle shoots, with the ability to edit and enhance visuals for both digital and print use.
* Excellent communication skills – ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, take constructive feedback, and communicate design concepts clearly.
* Time management and multitasking skills – ability to work on multiple projects at once, while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
* Attention to detail – ensuring accuracy in all aspects of design, from typography to colour balance and overall layout.
* Problem-solving mindset – the ability to think creatively and adapt to challenges as they arise during the design process.
* A growth mindset and willingness to learn – open to expanding your skill set and adapting to the evolving needs of the business and design trends.
