We are pioneers of high performance, energy efficient building products. Founded in 1993 our company manufactures all of its products in the UK at three purpose-built production facilities in Dorset.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Project Manager to develop their career in a dynamic business within our Special Projects department who specialise in the realisation of bespoke acoustic louvres, acoustic panels & weather louvres screens and enclosures across the construction industry.
You will preferably have 5 + years’ experience of Project Management in the construction industry or similar however we have a flexible approach to transferable skills. The salary will depend on experience and offers a great career path as we have a proven track record of progression to senior positions. You must hold a full driving licence as this role requires travel to site both nationally and throughout the South and have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered.
The role:
You will be allocated projects and/or assist in management of projects from point handover from Sales and Estimating to the Contracts department, through to completion.
You will:
1. Understand the project requirements from the “Handover” meeting and documentation.
2. Engage in all aspects of client liaison.
3. Control the financial management of the project via internal procedures.
4. Manage the design process alongside our client and CAD Engineers.
5. Undertake dimensional site surveys.
6. Manage project programmes including CAD allocations and production scheduling.
7. Manage project Quality Assurance.
8. Organise and book deliveries alongside our deliveries team.
9. Undertake project planning methodology including RAMS and on-site H&S administration.
10. Manage installation.
11. Handover the project to the client and review and input into Case Studies.
Skills and qualifications:
Essential
1. An appropriate degree, HNC/HND or equivalent industry experience.
2. Proficiency in interpretation of architectural/engineering type drawings.
3. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
Preferred
1. An understanding of Autodesk Inventor (willing to consider a candidate with experience of similar 3D CAD software e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, Solid Edge, Siemens NX, Fusion 360).
2. AutoCAD, or a similar 2D CAD package, like MicroStation.
3. ISOH or NEBOSH.

1. Have excellent attention to detail, be a good communicator, clearly convey ideas / designs verbally or through sketch.
2. Be able to liaise effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
3. Be punctual and able to work to strict project deadlines.
4. Be diligent and reliable and demonstrate a flexible attitude to work.
5. Be a pro-active, team player/self-motivated & enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
