Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual to join the Pharmacy Clinical Trials team in an administrative support role. We work closely with Trust Research and Innovation, external Sponsors and research nursing teams and so you will need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible, reliable and able to work using your own initiative. You will provide an efficient and effective service to the Clinical Trials team using your existing data management skills. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. Experience and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice for clinical trials would be an advantage, but full training will be given. This post will require cross-site working at both Leeds General Infirmary and St James' Hospital as you will be providing support to the Clinical Trials Administrative Assistant, as well as the Clinical Trial Supervisors. Key duties will include clerical tasks such as archiving, photocopying, filing, and data collection, acting as secretary to the Pharmacy Clinical Trials team by coordinating 1-1s, meetings, and minutes, assisting the team to prepare for audits and inspections by trial sponsors, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory agencies, maintaining records of GCP training for Clinical Trial staff as well as across the wider MMPS team, and collating workload statistics and performance monitoring data on a regular monthly basis.
