An experienced Claims Handler is required by a leading Independent Global Loss Adjuster providing Loss Adjusting, Claims and Risk Management Services who have a focus on Speciality Markets and Complex Commercial. You will join their Essex Team reporting to the Claims Manager and be responsible for managing a portfolio of Property and Liability Claims for both the UK and Europe through to settlement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investigating, negotiating and agreeing settlement of claims
2. Liaising with Insured, Insurers/Brokers to achieve the timely conclusion of claims
3. Liaise with stakeholders overseas
4. Produce reports
5. Ensure time reporting and billing is compliant
6. Liaise closely with Adjuster where appropriate
7. Attend Client review meetings
About You
1. Previous Claims handling experience including caseload management
2. Experience of handling Property Claims covering all perils
3. Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
4. Strong relationship management skills with the ability of establishing good working relationships with the team, colleagues and 3rd parties
5. Proven capability in negotiation, decision making and problem-solving skills.

8. Industry qualifications or working towards
9. Be happy to work from an office base 2/3 days per week

2. Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm
