We have a new opportunity to join a company as a Technical Inspector to support existing teams. The role will include attending domestic properties across Staffordshire and Shropshire, using your excellent diagnostic and inspection skills for various repairs and maintenance, to provide solutions to the customers, and ensuring professionalism at all times. A company vehicle will be provided.
Job Description:
1. Use technical diagnostic skills to identify the causes of issues relating to any repairs or maintenance
2. Propose technical solutions and assist in complex inspections where required
3. Raise and manage works through to completion and updating the housing management system
4. Complete inspections before the work and then coordinate inspections following diagnostic solutions
5. The Technical Inspector will provide high-quality service to customers at all times to provide solutions
6. Ensure all properties meet the standard and statutory obligations
Candidate Requirements:
7. Must have a minimum of a HNC in a Construction related discipline with at least 3 years of experience
8. Experience in inspections and diagnostics in domestic properties – must be related to damp and mould
9. Experience raising jobs in a housing management system is essential – be able to use an HHSRS
10. Confidently and regularly liaise with customers to provide solutions
11. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
12. Understanding of regulations including asbestos awareness, building regulations, gas and electrical safety, and CDM
13. Ability to work independently, as you may be alone working when attending properties
14. Basic DBS Certificate
Hours Monday – Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm with some flexibility
Salary: £38,988 Per Annum
