We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Chartered Tax Adviser to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert advice in tax planning, tax compliance, and ensuring that clients meet all their tax obligations in line with UK tax laws and regulations. Salary: £40- 45,000 Profit Sharing: Shared profit bonus if office goals are met Competitive Benefits Career Progression: Opportunities for career development, including the potential for a board appointment as part of succession planning Work Environment: A supportive, collaborative team with a focus on personal and professional growth Key Responsibilities: Tax Planning & Advice: Provide expert tax planning and advice to individual and corporate clients, ensuring full compliance with UK tax laws Tax Research: Conduct thorough research on tax issues to deliver up-to-date and accurate advice Tax Returns: Prepare and review Self-Assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance Company Accounts: Manage and prepare company accounts, ensuring timely and correct filing Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their tax positions and offer strategic tax planning solutions Compliance Tasks: Oversee tax compliance, including preparing tax calculations and submissions Communication: Clearly communicate tax-related matters to clients, providing guidance and answering queries Time Management: Manage and meet demanding deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Confidentiality: Maintain discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial data Team Contribution: Participate in team meetings, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement Business Development: Demonstrate strong business acumen and contribute to the firm’s growth Qualifications and Skills: Qualification: Chartered Tax Adviser or ACCA (or close to completing your qualification) Experience: At least 2-3 years in tax planning, compliance, and research Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations, including expertise in Self-Assessment and Company Accounts Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail Client Management: Strong understanding of business tax considerations and client management Management Experience: Desirable to have experience in management within an accountancy or tax setting Professionalism: Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and discretion Software: Experience with Xero is preferable How to Apply: If you are eager to progress in your career and join a growing firm, we would love to hear from you Submit your CV and cover letter outlining your qualifications, experience, and why you are the perfect fit for the role.
