Hallwood Park Primary School & Nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our nurturing and close-knit community. As a friendly half-form entry primary school with an attached nursery, we provide a warm and supportive learning environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive.
Nestled within the Hallwood Park Estate, our school boasts an expansive site that offers a peaceful and inspiring setting for both staff and pupils. Our school grounds include a pond, an allotment, and a woodland grotto, all of which will be renovated over the summer. Conveniently located near major roads, we are easily accessible, yet retain a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere that visitors frequently commend.
Hallwood Park has recently joined the Shaw Education Trust, providing exciting opportunities for career progression and professional development. We are at a pivotal point in our journey, striving for excellence while maintaining our strong sense of community and pastoral care.
The Role:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic class teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is eager to make a difference in children’s lives within a supportive and nurturing school environment. The classes are mixed year group, including Nursery and Reception. Despite being mixed year groups, we retain low pupil numbers, and most classes have around 20 students, so there is an opportunity to work closely with all children. In addition to low class sizes, each class has a teaching assistant, so that children are well supported to make progress against the individual milestones.
What We Offer:
* A warm and inclusive school community with a strong “family feel.”
* A commitment to high standards of behaviour and learning.
* A safe and happy environment where pastoral care is a priority.
* A supportive team dedicated to providing outstanding education and fostering positive relationships with pupils and parents.
* Access to excellent CPD opportunities through the Shaw Education Trust.
Come and Visit Us!
We firmly believe that the best way to experience the beauty and ethos of our school is to visit in person. We warmly invite prospective candidates to come and meet our wonderful children and staff to see first-hand what makes Hallwood Park so special.
