Our client is a vibrant community, dedicated to providing outstanding support to adults with learning disabilities and complex physical needs. The service we are recruiting for is a six-bedded residential home based in the Greenwich area in South East London.
Your new role
As a Registered Service Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional support. Your responsibilities will include:
* Motivating and coaching staff to provide high-quality care.
* Empowering individuals to lead active, fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations.
* Overseeing transitions, managing rotas, support plans, and budgets.
* Preparing monthly reports and participating in recruitment and staff development.
* Performing on-call duties as needed.
This role primarily operates Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility and occasional shift work to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* A genuine desire to enhance service provision for individuals with learning disabilities.
* Experience working with CQC regulations and delivering safe, high-quality services.
* Strong coaching and leadership skills, with a focus on practice leadership.
* The ability to balance safety and positive risk-taking.
* Knowledge of Positive Behavioural Support principles and person-centred care.
* A Level 5 diploma or equivalent experience.
* Financial acumen to manage budgets effectively.
* A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (desirable).
