At MHR, we don’t just use cloud-provisioned resources, we own and operate our state-of-the-art private data centres. As part of our Windows Systems Team, you’ll be working in a hands-on environment, maintaining and optimising over 3,500 instances of our industry-leading iTrent platform. You’ll be surrounded by experienced engineers who are passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and innovation, providing you with the perfect environment to learn, grow, and develop your expertise in Windows infrastructure.
Your Impact
Role
As a Junior Windows Systems Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our systems run smoothly and securely, directly contributing to the 100% availability target of our services. Your work will help ensure that over 10% of the UK workforce gets paid accurately and on time. You’ll be involved in:
* Providing operational support for Windows and data centre systems.
* Assisting in server builds and deployments, following best practices and company standards.
* Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
* Developing your skills through ongoing training, with clear progression to senior roles.
What You Will Bring To The Role And MHR
This role would suit someone who wants to take the next step in their career in IT, with a desire to progress in a customer-driven environment. Any experience in the below would be a plus:
* Experience in a general IT support environment and Windows Systems administration role
* Windows Server experience advantageous but not essential
* Active Directory
* PowerShell knowledge advantageous but not essential
* Networking knowledge
* Azure
