Job Description
Venture Recruitment Partners is working on an exclusive basis with a Littlehampton-based manufacturing business in their search for a Finance Manager on an interim basis.
This role offers an element of hybrid working, with approx. 1 day from home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading the month-end process
2. Performing the month-end procedures in the accounting software including all Journals, Cash book reconciliations and Daybook Close out.
3. Responsibility for the maintenance and processing of accruals and prepayments
4. Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
5. Presenting results at routine meetings with budget holders
6. Assisting with the annual budgetary and forecast process
7. Providing information to budget holders upon request
8. Reviewing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
Key Skills :
1. Good Understanding of Operational and Financial issues in a Manufacturing business
2. Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
3. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
4. Experience with ERP system functions and financial systems
This role offers the possibility to go permanent.
It is paying £55,000 - £65,000 or equivalent day rate.
