Associate Director of Nursing Professional Development & Education

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Croydon Health Services, due to retirement we are looking for our new Associate Director of Nursing for Professional Development and Education. Main Duties and Responsibilities
This key operational and strategic leadership post leads on the commissioning and delivery of Nursing and Midwifery education and development for the Trust as well as have operational responsibility for the CPD utilisation and student placements as well as managerial responsibilities for the Corporate Practice Education Team and their deliverables
This role will be part of the wider team in the delivering the Trust’s nursing strategy, the Trust’s workforce plan and the development and support framework around the Trusts Professional Practice Model.
The post-holder will engage with all levels of the Nursing & Midwifery structure in order to shape and develop the strategic approach to Nursing and Midwifery education, as well as working in collaboration with colleagues in the learning and organisational development facility and other workforce teams and external stakeholders.

The Trust was formed on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services and Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust.
