Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Travel Requirements : Negligible Location: Norfolk, VA SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for a Proposal Analyst, Lead to provide support to the proposal function throughout all phases of the proposal process. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Writes and edits proposal content and sections, as well as other communications. Develops and manages internal and external data calls. May lead and direct limited tasks assigned to junior personnel. Manages and organizes individual proposal folders. Prepares reports for proposal, capture and/or senior management. Ensures proposal documentation is maintained as required by WR's Quality Management System. Participates in strategy sessions. Supports the color review process, often acting as a writer, coordinator and/or reviewer. Prepares compliance matrices, calendars, outlines and PowerPoint slide decks efficiently. Handles multiple tasks efficiently and in a timely, professional manner. Leads meetings and conference calls, as needed. Assists Proposal Manager in monitoring the proposal process. Incorporates input from data calls into proposals. Collects and coordinates questions for submission to the government. Collaborates with various team members to ensure proposal content is accurate and complete. Researches and analyzes data for complex proposals, bids, quotations, and other documents. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or similar field. Five (5) years of experience in proposal activity support in a government contracting environment. Shipley training, preferred. Demonstrated ability to maintain a Proposal Library. Works well within a team environment and able to develop positive, working relationships at all levels of the organization. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Strong analytical skills to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various problems, and prioritize work. Advanced skill in Microsoft Office and Adobe Products. Must be able to work on-site.
