As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of the team managing the financial aspects of traditional new build houses and low-rise apartment projects. Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Manage cost estimation, budget forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Oversee variations, ensuring value for money and monitoring project expenditure.
* Work closely with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to manage financial and contractual obligations.
* Lead procurement strategies and negotiate contracts for various phases of the projects.
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and effectively handle claims or disputes.
* Oversee payments, final accounts, and risk assessments to maintain financial control.
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor
* A minimum of 6 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within residential development.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Proven track record in managing traditional new build housing and low-rise apartments.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost management, and risk mitigation.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and contractors.
