You will work with a multidisciplinary team of medical and allied health professionals on site to contribute to positive mental health outcomes for the Australian Defence Force personnel at Edinburgh Health Centre. This role is currently Full Time, with shifts Monday to Friday weekly 7:30am - 15:30pm.
As a Psychologist, you’ll make a positive impact by:
1. Performing intake assessments and risk assessments
2. Providing crisis intervention
3. Planning case formulation and treatment planning
4. Providing programmatic treatment interventions
5. Assisting with medication management
To be successful in this role you’ll have the following:
1. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a general Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2. Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate Experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule
Please note:
You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
