Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within Trelawny Outpatients for a Booking Co-ordinator. The successful candidate must have a flexible approach, possess excellent communication skills, must be reliable, well organised and able to work as part of a team or independently Main duties of the job Duties will include but not limited to organizing the outpatient room bookings on Book wise, ensure all outpatient clinics are fully utilized and cancelled slots filled effectively. To meet and greet patients, carers and visitors at reception desks in line with the Trust procedures. To maintain and update the Patients Administration System (PAS) following training using training manual and procedures supplied. The post holder will need to check patient details against a range of data sets to ensure a high level of data quality. Attention to detail is crucial. To ensure Attendances, Outcomes, Referral to Treatment (RTT) and Procedure codes are recorded onto PAS in line with policies and procedures which will guarantee funding to the Trust You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way. You must be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions, whilst always maintaining patient confidentiality.
