Job summary King's College Hospital is looking for a Band 7 WTE Paediatric Respiratory Physiologist to join the paediatric respiratory medicine and sleep services team. The successful candidate will manage and deliver lung physiology testing within the Variety Children's Hospital. The post holder will lead the paediatric lung function lab and manage the delivery of a range of routine, specialised and advanced physiological respiratory function tests. They will support junior colleagues in performing and analysing investigations and become an integrated member of the paediatric respiratory team. The Paediatric Respiratory Centre at the Variety Children's Hospital, King's College Hospital, offers secondary and tertiary referral services for children with complex lung disease and cystic fibrosis, primarily serving Southeast London, Kent, and Sussex. The Centre delivers comprehensive paediatric respiratory care, from full diagnostic services and chronic condition management to acute inpatient care and hospital-wide consultations. Main duties of the job We are seeking a candidate with energy and enthusiasm, who has extensive experience in sleep physiology, preferably in paediatrics, to further develop the services.
