Salary: £38,114- £43,634

Duration: 12 Months (with the potential for extensions or conversion to permanency)
Working Pattern: As an employer that supports flexible working, we will consider part-time or compressed working requests, though these will be reviewed on a case by case basis and dependant on the role requirements.
Location: We offer a hybrid working model that provides flexibility to our colleagues in terms of how they work, as long as it meets the needs of both the individual and the organisation. Your contractual base will be either Meadowbank House, Edinburgh EH8 7AU or St Vincent Plaza, Glasgow G2 5LD. You may be required to visit one of these locations when it is deemed necessary, however this is role dependant.

About Registers of Scotland (RoS): RoS manages 21 land, property and other legal registers which are a critical asset for the Scottish economy. We aim to provide the best public service for Scotland and are on a mission to modernize some of the oldest public land registers in the world.
About this Role: The role sits within a multi-disciplinary communications and engagement team servicing Registers of Scotland and all its programmes of activities. The role holder will take responsibility for a portfolio of activities and take ownership of end-to-end delivery of events campaigns.
Main duties:
1. Develop and implement targeted events plans and briefs that meet the needs of Communications and Engagement activities and support our corporate objectives.
2. Provide on-the-day virtual and live event delivery.
3. Engage effectively with senior management, providing comprehensive and accurate event briefs and pre-event support.
4. Develop campaign collateral that is fit for purpose, consistent with brand guidelines and RoS tone of voice.
5. Evaluate effectiveness of events and provide insight into continuous improvements.
6. Support the development of overall campaign plans by providing expert events insight and knowledge of effective practice.
7. Maintain a calendar of events, highlighting opportunities.
8. Ensure all activities undertaken are value adding, with clear objectives and tangible benefits.
9. Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and insight and collaborate with digital communications, account management, internal communications and campaign delivery teams.
Essential criteria - Your Skills and Attributes for Success:
Technical/Experience: Educated to degree level within relevant field of events, marketing, or communications and/or have relevant experience and proven track record delivering within an events environment.
Competencies:
1. Experience of planning and effectively delivering high quality events within budget and in a timely manner.
2. Excellent organisational/analytical skills coupled with the ability to meet tight deadlines, whilst maintaining ownership of and delivering multiple projects.
3. Ability to establish productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, while demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Ability to analyse the effectiveness of events and implement continuous improvement as required.
