About the role
Welcome to Controllership- Group reporting – an exciting team at the heart of Boots UK’s statutory reporting landscape. This team manages both US GAAP and IFRS reporting responsibilities and is involved in critical projects like SAP implementation and reporting acceleration. It is the centre of all things Controllership.
You will manage key areas within the Group Reporting function like intercompany relationships, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal posting. Reporting into the Senior Manager - Group Reporting, you will lead a remote team of six overseas colleagues. Key deliverables of this role include:
* Manage all intercompany relationships and complete intercompany reporting within tight deadlines.
* Take lead in resolving any intercompany issues.
* Lead the Balance sheet reconciliation process – end to end.
* Ensure SOX compliance associated with Journal and Balance sheet reconciliation.
* Liaison with HR/Payroll on all payroll related items.
* Deliver statutory audit of multiple Boots entities.
* Mentor Genpact team.
What you’ll need to have

* Clear understanding of core accounting principles.

* Ability to manipulate large Excel models.
