Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are a well-established, highly respected independent manufacturer in the corrugated packaging industry, dedicated to producing high-quality products from sustainable sources. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and support the everyday operations of our corrugated board manufacturing process.
2. Conduct preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
3. Liaise with company personnel to ensure seamless production.
4. Identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
5. Perform emergency maintenance as required to minimize downtime.
6. Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities.
7. Order necessary parts from suppliers and maintain stock levels.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations during maintenance work.
9. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical and mechanical systems.
10. Calibrate equipment and system components.
11. Service and refurbish machinery to extend operational lifespan.
12. Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly, including machine diagnostics.
13. Inspect machine parts and ensure they meet performance standards.
14. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
15. Operate and use lathes efficiently.
Experience & Education:
1. Proven experience working in a demanding production environment.
2. Hands-on engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
3. Familiarity with workshop tools, including lathe operation.
4. Knowledge of safety procedures in an engineering environment.

Working Hours:
Weekly rotating shift pattern: (There can be some flexibility, if required)
1. 06:00 – 14:00
2. 14:00 – 22:00
