Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a background to support Operations Procurement in the Passenger Services category team, helping Heathrow to achieve our purpose of making every journey better.
Managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced dynamic business critical category, you'll manage the sourcing, procurement, contract assurance, implementation, and post-contract management activities. You will coordinate end-to-end procurement management with a focus on Supplier Relationship Management and Sustainability. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll drive value for Heathrow to maximize delivery, minimize risk, and deliver benefits to the organization through cost savings, fostering supplier relationships, and improved operations.
Responsibilities
1. Owning the end-to-end procurement lifecycle
2. Delivery of robust contractual documentation including drafting and negotiation
3. Maintaining well-informed effective category plans and developing strategies which will be presented to relevant senior stakeholders, using creative commercial models, market-leading technology, and trends that will drive regulatory compliance and a competitive edge for the business
4. Executing sourcing activity in line with Heathrow governance procedures, driving best in class behaviors
5. Maintaining established processes for supplier management, claims management, benefits and savings, and continuous improvement targets whilst meeting all contract, regulatory, risk-reward, and exit strategy requirements
6. Managing and owning the SRM process for key stakeholders up to Executive level (internal and external)
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models and environments using a range of reimbursement models
2. Aptitude for delivering multiple projects to meet business affordability targets and achievement of Key Performance Indicators through strong Supplier & Stakeholder Relationship Management
3. Demonstrable Contract and Supplier Management experience
4. Ability to confidently work with data
Ideally, you'll also have:
1. End-to-end contract management experience
2. CIPS - either achieved or working towards completion
3. Experience working in an aviation or any regulated business environment
