Job Outline: The Customer Programmes Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that customer programmes are delivered to specification, quality, cost and time. The Customer Programmes Co-ordinator represents the Company on allocated projects to the external community, always acting professionally and with the best interests of the Company whilst also representing the Customer needs to the internal organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Liaise with internal departments to complete customer orders • Manage the sales order review process within AX • Develops business relationships with key customers that support businessgrowth on follow on bookings • Provide administration support to Sales teams including updating and maintaining the Rolling Forecast, Export and Compliance regulations and preparation for customer visits • Program Manage execution of supporting tasks (eg CDRLS) on production contracts • Prepare, maintain and issue departmental documentation and records • Understand and ensure compliance with the national and international export, import and ITAR rules and legislation • Create and distribute data and reports to support Business Winning and Programme Management activities • Manage Customer Returns • Point of contact with Customers for new bookings associated with Spares/Repairs on existing products. This includes all aspects from quotation, negotiation and contract receipt • Produce MOD Customer Reports • Manage and Produce MOD Invoicing Personal Specification: It is essential that all candidates have the following: • Educated to HNC / NVQ level 4, in a relevant field such as engineering, customer service, business management. • Effective communication skills and experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels • High motivation, responsiveness, and focus, also possess meticulous attention to detail – crucial for ensuring programme requirements are fully understood and met. • Skilled in influencing and relationship building • Conversant with Microsoft office applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint The following attributes are considered desirable, but not essential for the role: • Experience of working with MRP / ERP applications and associated software • Knowledge of Qioptiq Ltd products and capabilities. • Managing customers, suppliers and internal business project teams to deliver quality & timely results.
