Are you proactive, results-driven, and ready to make a difference? Our client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Finance team and support the Purchase Ledger Manager in providing a timely and efficient service to their suppliers.
Salary: £28,000
Location: Ellesmere Port
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00-17:30 - flexi time available)
Hybrid working: 2 days working from home as agreed with line manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
* Processing the weekly payment run
* Purchase ledger processing
* Monitoring and maintaining the purchase ledger and accounts email inbox
* Posting supplier invoices on Sage 200 software, ensuring accuracy and correct coding
* Resolving queries and building relationships with internal staff and external suppliers
* Tracking internal purchase order receipting
* Assisting with year-end preparations and audit file information
What we are looking for:
1. A passionate individual with experience in purchase ledger processing
2. Proficiency in working with Sage 200
3. AAT Qualified or Part-qualified (desirable but not essential)
4. Demonstrable experience in a Finance or Purchase Ledger role
