£50,000 - £60,000 DOE.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday flexi working available from 6am-6pm & can be worked over 4 days.
Our reputable Ecommerce Retail Client who are currently looking for a driven and dynamic personality to run sales of a growing, fast-paced ecommerce company. Accountable for maintaining leading seller position and further growth across multiple B2C and B2B platforms online as well as main high-street brands in the UK and beyond.
The successful candidate will oversee Ecommerce and Purchasing departments within the organisation and report directly to the business owners.
Main Responsibilities of the Head of Ecommerce
Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement eCommerce plans to drive sales, conversions, and customer engagement. Improve conversion rates and average order value through data-driven decisions
Campaign Management: Oversee planning and execution of sales promotions and digital marketing campaigns
Analytics & Reporting: Use performance data to inform decisions and optimize results.
Product Development and Management: Introduce new products, oversee sourcing, product listings and site merchandising. Ensure product compliance with current legislation
Procurement: Oversee stock re-ordering to maintain perfect stock availability by meeting the demand and reducing product shelf life
Relationship management – liaise with clients and suppliers
Competitor analysis – monitoring key competitor activity, identifying new competitors
Coaching and motivating department managers and staff to maintain strong company culture
Cooperating closely with other departments ensuring mutual understanding of the goals and ways to achieve them (i.e. delivery performance, product improvements)
Following industry trends and identifying new business opportunities
Upholding and nurturing company values
Experience and Skills required
Proven ecommerce leadership experience (Ideally 5+ Years)
Excellent knowledge of the e-commerce industry
Skilled in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving market
Keen interest in Home & Garden category
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
