I am looking for an experienced Hospitality Manager for a fabulous Nursing Home in Watton, Thetford. The home has 70 beds and is purpose-built, offering a warm, caring environment for nursing, residential and dementia care which has luxurious bedroom suites, elegant living areas and extensive gardens.
In this role you will:
• Oversee all aspects of hospitality operations in the home, from ensuring a ‘healthy living’ food service and an engaging activities programme, to making sure that housekeeping and maintenance operations are at the highest level
• Foster a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork, improvement, and top-notch service
• Deliver exceptional experiences for residents, surpassing their needs and expectations.
• Oversee food service operations, collaborating closely with the chef for quality meals on time
• Develop engaging activities promoting residents' interests, fun, and well-being
• Manage the hospitality budget to meet revenue targets while controlling costs
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to enhance community engagement
• Uphold compliance with regulations, health and safety, and employment laws, maintaining thorough records
For this great role you must have:
• Previous experience with a hospitality background - preferably with some hotel experience.
• Excellent communication, motivational and people skills
• A genuine interest in engaging residents and their families on a regular basis
• Great organisational skills with good time keeping
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and policies, such as employment and health and safety legislation
• The ability to be flexible with working hours as some weekend/evening work may be required on occasion
