Job description
We are looking to expand our team and recruit a highly driven internal sales person. As well as looking after customers who come into our trade counter, the role will require taking sales calls, providing quotations, and looking for opportunities to build business with new and existing customers.
Part of the role will include processing orders, as well stock control and day to day operational duties. The right candidate who is driven to develop will be well placed to become integral in many other areas of the business for a long term career.
As a business we will support both personal and professional development, offering guidance and support alongside training on product and process.

Candidate Specification
This is a multi-skilled role and the right candidate will have a talent for building relationships with both new clients on the trade counter and maintaining service levels for regular account customers.
You must have a good telephone manner, an adaptable outlook to work, and the motivation to alternate between tasks in-line with the needs of the branch.
Experience within the electrical wholesale industry is an advantage, as is a level of related product knowledge, however this could also be suitable for anyone who has worked in another wholesale/trade counter environment.
You should as a minimum have:
· Ideally 2-3 years’ experience within electrical wholesale / trade counter
· Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
· The ability to build relationships with clients
· A ‘can-do’ attitude and the motivation to progress and learn
· A flexible approach to work and a variety of tasks
· A passion for delivering best in class service
