We are currently looking for a Buyer to join our busy Operations team.
As our Buyer, you will be responsible for the planning and procurement of materials, ensuring goods are delivered on time, at the right quality, and purchased at the most competitive rates.
Responsibilities:
1. In conjunction with the materials controller, progress the delivery of supplies to meet production requirements.
2. Place orders and manage the transactional side of the role.
3. Operate strategically when required.
Qualifications:
1. At least two to three years' experience in a similar role.
2. Experience within the caravan manufacturing sector is highly advantageous.
3. Commercially astute with a proven ability to manage costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
4. Strong numeric and analytical skills with attention to detail.
5. Able to work under pressure within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
6. Strong negotiation skills.
