Our client is seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead commercial growth and drive new sales opportunities across key market sectors. This is a pivotal role in an expanding business that operates in technical sales, particularly within battery energy storage, switchgear, or related industrial environments.\nThis position is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented commercial leader looking to make a significant impact and potentially progress into a Managing Director role in the future. Reporting directly to the board, the successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding the company’s market presence, shaping go-to-market strategies, and building long-term client relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.\n * Review and establish market pricing to remain competitive and profitable.\n * Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets.\n * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, fully understanding their technical needs and commercial goals.\n * Lead and manage the inside sales team, overseeing the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.\n * Provide regular market intelligence and insights to support product development and strategic decision-making.\n * Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.\nKey Skills & Experience\n * Proven track record in B2B sales or business development within engineering, manufacturing, or electrical components sectors.\n * Solid understanding of digital/inbound marketing principles and how to apply them in a technical sales environment.\n * Strong technical aptitude or willingness to learn about standoff isolators, busbar systems, and related product applications.\n * Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.\n * Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.\n * Effective people leadership and team management experience.\n * Highly self-motivated and capable of working both independently and within a team.\n * Willingness to travel internationally as required (significant export business).\nIf you are a driven and commercially-minded professional with a passion for growing technical sales in a dynamic and expanding company, we would love to hear from you.
