What They’re Looking For Our client is seeking a self-motivated and passionate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with experience in agile software development within distributed engineering teams. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, manage test cases, and oversee testing activities such as defect tracking and regression testing. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality products that meet customer needs.
Collaborate with scrum teams to create test strategies and plans.
Identify testing requirements and develop detailed test cases and scripts.
Perform manual testing to validate software functionality against acceptance criteria for each sprint.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not affect existing features.
Participate in task demonstrations to verify acceptance criteria and ensure no visible bugs before further testing.
Maintain and execute automated test scripts under guidance from senior QA engineers.
Stay updated on QA methodologies and best practices, particularly in SaaS and Agile environments.
Perform functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing.
Identify areas prone to recurring bugs for prioritizing future automation testing.
Testing Tools: Experience with tools such as Selenium, TestRail, or similar, including configuration and implementation to achieve objectives.
Automation Skills: Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
SDLC Understanding: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and working within a Scrum team.
Precision in testing and documentation processes.
Several years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated processes.
