We are now looking for a
Customer Service Co-ordinator
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is Havant, Hampshire, United Kingdom.
What you will be doing
At Wärtsilä Defence Solutions Limited (WDSL), we enhance the business of our customers by providing integrated systems, packages and products that offer lifecycle efficiency, decreased costs and reduced risks through the provision of reliable and environmentally sustainable products.
As a Customer Service Coordinator (Quotations / Proposals), you will support the sales organisation by taking a focussed responsibility on executing against enquiries for quotations and proposals in a timely manner as per business requirements.
You will have varied stakeholders you will work with in the role, across multiple function, including design engineering, finance, purchasing, production and the wider Wärtsilä global sales teams. This is a key role that would suit someone with an eye for detail and an inquiring manner, able to build strong relationships both internally and externally, and used to pulling data together from various sources in order to produce the finished quotation.
As Customer Service Co-ordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
1. Produce accurately written quotations and proposals in response to customer enquiries, within agreed timeframe.
2. Produce supporting documentation to secure internal management approval for the above.
3. Build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally including but not limited to engineering, production, sales and sub-contractors.
4. Identify new opportunities via sales team and progress negotiations through to order stage whilst keeping up to date with inflation, exchange rates and projected timescale costs.
5. Make use of relevant computer software such as Excel, Word and SAP.
6. Proactively provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
7. Proactive approach to achieving and exceeding relevant Customer Service KPIs.
8. Ensure all procedures/work processes comply with all audit requirements.
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
9. Proven experience in a customer facing role is essential.
10. Strong commercial acumen, including experience in negotiations and cost awareness, and an appreciation of key contractual liabilities.
11. Excellent communicator with strong analytical problem-solving skillset.
12. Confident in presenting and facilitating meetings.
13. Innovative mindset.
14. Strong team player with proven relationship building experience.
15. Fluent in English, verbal and written.
The job is offered subject to successfully obtaining the appropriate security. clearance (BPSS) Applicants due to the nature of some projects will need to be a UK National.
