I am a 22 year old young man living within the pontardawe area. I am a character, who is very happy go lucky and I am also very caring. I have a good sense humour, and I really enjoy listening to stories. I enjoy football. I like to go for food. I enjoy bowling, the Cinema and also walking.
Purpose
A Personal assistant to help me gain more independence and support accessing community engagement and to help me build skills for more independent living. I would like a Personal Assistant to have an interest in attending local sporting events. I would like to develop my confidence in Managing Finances and to build confidence to travel independently. I would like a PA to help encourage me to take the lead in decision-making, where appropriate, and develop problem-solving skills. Provide emotional reassurance and help manage my anxiety in unfamiliar or challenging situations. I would like support to help me understand structured travel training within the use of public transportation safely. Also support and manage small financial transactions during outings and teach me basic budgeting skills. I require support with essential safety skills, such as recognising potential hazards in public spaces and ensuring my safety.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
