We are seeking experienced, passionate and creative individuals to join our team in delivering our high-quality School Academy Programme. The ideal candidates for this position will demonstrate strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and has experience of working in a similar role. The Foundation uses a wide range of activities and opportunities for young people within the curriculum including mentoring, numeracy and literacy support, delivery of P.E., football coaching, targeted intervention and pastoral welfare. We work in partnership with each school to make their programme specific for their students. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver inspiring, interactive, inclusive and engaging sessions for young people which allow for development and meeting individual needs. Providing a safe and fun environment for young people to meet new friends, develop skills, improve their mental and physical wellbeing and promote personal development. Ensure that safeguarding is at the heart of all work, applying best practices and policies in all aspects of student support and sessions including registers, medical needs and additional support is reviewed prior to each session and adaptations made where required. Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with young people, engaging them in activities that promote personal and social development. Support learners in the classroom under the supervision and direction of a qualified teacher, assisting with engagement and learning. Working closely with the guidance of the school staff to plan and deliver group interventions and/or activities to enhance student progress and well-being. Organize and lead break, lunch, and after-school interventions, clubs, and activities to support student engagement and development. Communicate effectively with School Academies Manager on a day-to-day basis. Develop and maintain positive relationships with foundation staff, parents, carers and key partners across our school academies.
