Events Coordinator
£27,000-28,000 per annum
OA are recruiting for an Events Coordinator to join our client’s highly successful and growing team.
You will be responsible for assisting 4 Account Managers with the arranging of events, ranging from music festivals, large catering events, and TV shoots.
We are looking for an organised team player who can continuously meet expectations, with the ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will need to have a can-do attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, as in Events no day is the same. Experience of self-management and the ability to prioritise is a must.
Location: Aylesbury - Aston Clinton
Hours: This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Once you've completed your six-month probation, you'll have access to flexible working hours between 7 AM and 7 PM, as well as the option to work from home up to two days per month.
Salary: £27,000-£28,000 – depending on experience

Events Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients daily to organise events from enquiry through to completion.
* Understanding the market and clients’ requirements and how they like to work.
* Managing a large volume of information and processing through various contact means i.e. phone, emails, or other platforms.
* Working closely with the Account managers to prepare quotations, presentations and learning about budgets and profit margins.
* Organising and managing all event logistics, arranging equipment, booking transport, sourcing, and booking accommodation and travel.
* Solely managing and organising smaller events such as one-off shows.
* Assisting with the collation of event specific information to create / assist with marketing material.
* Daily communications with internal departments, finance, warehouse, and safety team.
* Ad-hoc duties such as shopping (either online or travelling off-site), pulling small equipment from our warehouse if needed.
* Sporadically being available out of hours for communication (emails, phone) should an event require assistance.
Events Coordinator Skills and Experience:
* Strong administrative experience
* Catering/event experience is an advantage
* Computer literate able to use Microsoft packages.
* Great communication skills
* Transport due to the location.
