We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in our busy Vendor Flex Distribution Centre based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position.
On Offer
* Hourly rate: £11.49 per hour (£27,185 per annum)
* 45.5 hours per week
* Monday - Friday (06:00 am - 15:30pm)
* Overtime available
Due to our location, it's essential that you have your own transport, as the site isn't accessible via public transport.
What you will be doing?
* Using a scanner to pick, pack and dispatch direct to customer orders for our range of Pet Foods
* General Warehouse duties
* Following safety instructions and procedures
* Work in a safe manner at all times ensuring the safety of myself and colleagues. Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times and raise any health and safety concerns through the appropriate channels
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role is not essential but desirable
* FLT Counterbalance desirable
* Physically fit (ability to lift up to 25kg and able to work on your feet for long periods)
* Good level of numeracy and literacy to enable correct labelling of products
* Previous experience of working in a fast paced team environment
