As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll lead by example, providing support, structure, and compassion in every interaction with children and team members alike. Your leadership will help shape the home’s culture, ensuring it’s a safe and positive space that allows young people to thrive. What You'll Do: Guide and support Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers, providing supervision and mentorship. Take charge of shifts, ensuring seamless operations and effective task completion. Cultivate a nurturing atmosphere by building strong, trusting relationships with children. Support the professional growth of team members, instilling best practices in care. Create lasting memories by organising activities that foster joy, learning, and personal growth. Document children’s development in thoughtful, impactful ways. What You'll Bring: A Passion for Helping Others: Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in young people's lives. Experience and Dedication: Previous experience providing emotional and behavioural support is essential. Flexibility and Resilience: The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the home.
