Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced tax assistant to support tax compliance work. The Role The role is very varied, and the successful candidate will be excited about working in a growing company. It is hoped that this position will develop so a candidate with drive and who is keen to take on responsibility would be ideal for the role. Core responsibilities include t he annual compliance for a personal tax portfolio of clients (sole traders, buy to let landlords, HNW entrepreneurs and non-doms). Potentially there is scope for ad hoc advice around Employee Share Schemes, Capital Gains issues (including marital dispute) and Family Trusts. The Candidate Ideally, you will be a qualified tax professional (minimum ATT), although QBE will be considered. Proven experience in a similar role. Exceptionally strong written, numerical, and verbal communication skills A keen problem-solver with the ability and willingness to take ownership & resolve issues Have the ability to be flexible and to thrive in a hardworking team Be results driven and highly motivated Ability to develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships with colleagues and clients Have experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Have high integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
