You will hold responsibility for all Estates and Facilities Services, the majority provided in-house, making best use of the resources available and managing risk on behalf of the Trust Board. We have recently completed the RAAC Failsafe programme, a new CDC at Newmarket, and continue to make investments both on the Acute site and in the community. This role is a senior leader for the organisation supporting not only the current estate but our transition to the new hospital through Government Soft Landings methodology, working collaboratively across the organisation to improve patient outcomes and tackle health inequalities by supporting investment in the local community. Main duties of the job The Associate Director - Estates and Facilities contributes fully to the strategic and corporate management of the Trust. They will lead in the delivery of the Trust's Estates Strategy. The postholder will have overall responsibility for ensuring that optimal estate and facilities services are provided within available human and financial resources. They will be the principal adviser on all land, property, estate and facilities, development matters, including community services, to the Chief Finance Officer and the Board. They will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure all estate and facility implications are considered as part of any reconfiguration schemes and in the development of the longer-term strategy for the Trust.
