To lead the production team to achieve maximum productivity and output without compromising health, safety, environmental management, quality, cost and delivery performance. Your main responsibilities will be: KPI Management and Process Improvement Monitor and evaluate KPIs for production performance, identify trends, and take corrective or enhancement actions. Maintain a KPI board, conduct daily huddles with staff, and focus on continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and quality. Team Leadership and Development Lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams, including Deputy Production Leaders and Production Operatives. Conduct performance reviews, 1:1s, and talent development sessions, and ensure alignment with company values and objectives. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Responsibility Ensure employee safety by adhering to HSE regulations, conducting audits, and driving a culture where safety is the top priority. Manage risk assessments, COSHH compliance, and implement preventative and corrective measures to safeguard employees. Conflict Resolution and HR Administration Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and disputes professionally and in line with company policies. Oversee attendance, return-to-work processes, phased returns, and other HR-related duties for direct reports. Technical and Operational Accountability Plan workloads, allocate resources, and address shortages to meet production targets. Use ERP systems effectively, maintain quality documentation, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Deputize for the Production Supervisor as required, ensuring seamless operations during their absence.
