About the Role:
TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in Watford. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with young people who require additional support in their learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide whole class, 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN in the classroom and other settings.
Help students engage with their learning and build positive relationships.
Assist with managing and de-escalating potentially challenging behaviour in line with school policies.
Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Support the social and emotional development of students and encourage positive interactions.Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with SEN or young people is highly advantageous - whether that is professionally or in personal life.
Experience working with young people is essential.
Passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
