Would you like to work with children with additional needs?
Our Head of SEND is looking to recruit a new Early Years Practitioner, who would like to train to be a SENCO and specialist Keyworker working with children aged 18 months to 4 years who have complex additional needs. You will be working with a team of 10 experienced SEND staff including experienced SEND Practitioners, volunteers, a SEND learning support assistant, and 2 SEND Apprentices.
Or you might already be a trained SENCO and are looking for a new challenge working within a team of specialist SEND practitioners. If yes, we would also love to hear from you.
Term time only, we are looking to recruit one SEND Practitioner to work between 22 and 25 hours per week.
During your probation period you will be mentored by our Head of SEND, work with our on-site speech and language therapist, shadow our existing team of qualified SENCO Keyworkers, and attend basic specialist training courses. If your 3-month probation is successful we will pay your training to become a SENCO and you will also have the opportunity to train in a specialist area of practice.
Our ratios are never more than 1:3 with all children receiving some 1:1 individualised learning each day to help them achieve the very best they can.
