We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who will perform a critical role for our leadership and internal project teams. Reporting into the Finance Director, this is a highly visible role. Key responsibilities will include: Ownership of the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including all journal entries, reconciliations, reviews and associated internal control deliverables Prepare month-end reports for the leadership team Lead the monthly Key Performance Indicator reporting process Maintain the general ledger and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded Business Partnering 2 of our Practice Teams, supporting with any finance queries and training the teams on best practice Pro-actively identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing enhancements About You: You’ll be a fully qualified Accountant through either CIMA, ACA or ACCA or qualified by experience. Analytical with high attention to detail and strong Excel skills A clear communicator, able to present complex data understandably Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business. Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Curious, with a desire to desire to clearly understand the detail A self-starter who is always looking to learn and develop themselves as well as the teams around them What will Uptake provide for You?
