We are seeking a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Warwick. This position is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will work closely with teachers and students, helping to enhance academic outcomes and foster personal development. This long-term role offers the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored individual and group support for SEN pupils, encouraging engagement and personal growth.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress, address challenging behaviours, and maintain regular communication with staff and parents.
- Lead small group activities and contribute to maintaining a positive and organised classroom atmosphere.
Requirements
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant degree.
- Experience working with SEN pupils in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a dedication to promoting inclusive education.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with staff and follow guidance.
