As Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of Aspire’s day-to-day activities, overseeing the operational aspects that drive our success. From onboarding new team members to managing schedules and resources, you will ensure that our internal processes run smoothly and efficiently. As part of our senior management team, you will work with directors and department leads to implement operational strategies that support our mission. This will help foster a productive and compliant work environment aligned with Aspires goals. Your role will include: Overseeing recruitment processes, including job listings, reference checks, and ID verification. Leading employee induction and onboarding, ensuring access to essential systems such as email, internal communication tools, and HR platforms and coordinating delivery of uniforms, ID badges, and other necessary resources. Managing and organising training initiatives to promote skill development and personal growth. Coordinating logistics, including timetables, team rotas, and scheduling to support optimal team performance. Conducting performance management through regular one-on-ones and mentorship to nurture team potential. Managing payroll and budgets, and efficiently allocating equipment and resources. Conducting interviews and evaluating candidates to identify those who align with Aspire’s values and contribute to a positive team culture. Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and standards, including Ofsted. Serving as the Designated Safeguarding Lead to uphold a safe and secure workplace. Managing the day-to-day operations of the team to meet the needs of our stakeholders, while collaborating with HR to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Maintaining the employee handbook and overseeing policy updates and adherence. Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience managing daily operations, team schedules, and resources efficiently to drive organisational success. Skilled in overseeing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including compliance checks and safeguarding best practices. Good financial acumen in managing budgets and resource allocation to support efficient operations. Demonstrated ability to foster team growth through training and development initiatives. Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance, especially Ofsted standards, with experience managing policies and maintaining high standards of safety and safeguarding. Qualifications: A degree in related field is preferred but not essential. Driving licence and access to a car General: This role is subject to receiving satisfactory DBS checks and professional references.
