As a Dental Administrator, you'll thrive in a supportive back-office environment, working alongside a dynamic team of 3 other administrators on a daily basis (Team of 8). Requirements:
* Must be GDC registered
* Previous experience in a dental clinic is a must
* Minimum 3 years experience in Dental Admin and Dental Nursing required
You will be required to work 36-40 hours per week.
What we are looking for:
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently with patients and clinicians in a friendly and professional manner.
* Experience with managing Emails, Treatment Plans, Estimates, Invoices, and all related patient enquiries.
* Good understanding of dental terminology.
* Good understanding of x-rays, charting, following dentist notes and instructions.
* Reliable and flexible.
* Use own initiative and able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities will include:
* Make appointments over the telephone and email and respond efficiently and correctly to incoming emails and calls.
* Handle requests for emergency consultations.
* Register new patients and process patient information whilst maintaining confidentiality.
* Follow up with patients regarding their treatments and bookings.
* Manage tasks from Dentists and Managers.
* Process payments.
* Oversee diary bookings for efficiency.
* Manage Insurance claim requests and reports.
* Follow trackers to book patients for treatments and check documents required, especially with specialists.
* Keep track of lab works.
