We are looking for a highly self-motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to manage and support ISO management system, conduct internal audits, effectively manage product recalls, and implement and manage cost of non-quality, conducting product analysis. Reporting to the UK&I Zone Customer Experience Improvement Manager, you will be part of our UK&I Zone Customer Experience team Main Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain elements of the quality system documentation to ensure processes are kept in line with current practice and ISO requirements. Perform internal audits to ensure ISO requirements are maintained, and quality improvement targets are achieved. Continually review and improve management system to ensure the highest levels of quality and compliance. Undertake management reviews, manage, and support annual quality objectives and action plans. Provide support and quality knowledge, supporting customer requested information and audits, conducting customer site visits as required. Work closely with IMS & I2P Managers to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with ISO standards and customer issue resolution (I2P) directives and procedures. Effectively manage and support product/ solution Offer safety Issues (OSI) containment actions (XA’s) and where required product recalls. Performing analysis of warranty returns, such that potential product quality issues can be identified, working in collaboration with LoB Quality function as required. Develop and manage cost of non-quality, reporting & implementation of improvement actions, to reduce costs. Requirements: 3 years+ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards ISO ISO Internal Auditor trained/certified Experience with implementation of corrective & preventative action programmes Good level of analytical skills Works to a high standard with a sense of urgency, when required Self-motivated, results orientated and able to work on own initiative Strong communication & influencing skills Be proficient in management systems databases & software tools (examples: bFO, QT9 or equivalent MS Office, Teams) Desired: Recognised Quality professional certification Lead Auditor or Green Belt/ lean certified At Schneider Electric, Diversity & Inclusion is at the heart of our organisation, it's an integral part of our history, culture, and identity.
