Position Available: Fully Qualified & Passionate SEN Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join an outstanding school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments that enable every student to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents, carers, and relevant agencies.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and a love of learning.
- Stay informed of best practices and developments in SEN education, and engage in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Minimum of six months' experience working as a SEN Teacher in a UK school.
- Full-time availability.
- Current and valid DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the varied needs of students with SEN.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom.
